Trémont was founded by two brothers, Yemi and Yombo, with a simple conviction: the most enduring design is rarely the most obvious.

The brand was born from a shared admiration for the elegance and restraint of 1970s European watchmaking - an era defined by balanced proportions, distinctive silhouettes, and objects that carried quiet confidence without demanding attention.

Trémont exists to carry that spirit forward.

Designed Between London and Amsterdam

Today, Trémont is designed between London and Amsterdam, the cities where the two founders reside.

You may notice a small detail on some Trémont dials: LDN | AMS, placed subtly beneath six o’clock. It is a quiet nod to the two cities where the watches are imagined and developed.

A Personal Beginning

Yemi’s fascination with watches began early. What started as a small personal collection gradually evolved into a deeper curiosity about watch design and craftsmanship.

In 2016, he launched his first watch brand with little experience in building a company or running an online business. While it provided valuable lessons, it eventually became clear that the brand did not fully reflect the kind of watches he truly believed in.

So he stepped away - with the intention of returning and doing it properly.

A Shared Vision

Yombo’s path to Trémont came through a different creative lens.

During his university years, he ran a small business from his accommodation room, sourcing and reselling vintage and retro clothing online. His appreciation for vintage design, materials, and timeless aesthetics would later play a defining role in shaping Trémont’s direction.

Over time, the brothers realised they shared the same idea:

To create a watch brand inspired by vintage pieces they admired, yet rarely had the opportunity to own.
